    On Wednesday, May 8th at 7:00p.m., Arts Place Portland Center will present it’s ensembles in concert in the Hall/Moser Theatre. Eastern Breeze Flute, Distant Thunder and the Jay County Community Band will perform. On Monday, May 20th at 7:00p.m., A Choired Taste, the community choir of Arts Place, will be in concert. Both events are free and open to the public.

    A Choired Taste will feature Pete Vogler on flute, Melissa Knutson on violin, and vocal solos by Amelia Freeman. The group is directed by Eric Rogers, Margaret Hammond, accompanist. The choir will perform a program of spirituals, madrigals, Broadway and movie tunes. Jay County Community Band, directed by Pete Vogler, performs a wide variety of musical styles and will be featured at the concert as well.
