WARREN — Amber Hancharick, education and training manager, assistant vice president for Northwest Bank, recently received honors from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Advanced School of Banking.

This designation is awarded to individuals who demonstrated leadership qualities and earned high homework scores. To qualify for this award, individuals must attend 3 years of PBA Advanced School of Banking.

Hancharick began her career with Northwest in 2016 as the education and training manager. Prior to Northwest, she was the executive director of the Kane Area Development Center as well as the employability counselor/instructor and export trade specialist for North Central PA Regional Planning & Development Commission.

A graduate of Penn State, Hancharick received her bachelors in agroecosystems science in 2003 and her masters of education in training and development in 2006.

In her spare time, Hancharick serves as president of Kane Day School, a board member of Leadership McKean, elementary catechist for St. Callistus Parish and auction chair for the Kane Rotary Radio Auction.

Hancharick lives in Kane with her husband, Mike, and their children, Maebel and Bowen.
