The Union City Ohio Police Department with the Assistance of the Ohio Attorney General’s BCI Investigative Service Unit, recently completed an investigation in reference to a theft of a large amount of money.
The investigation revealed that Jessica Noggle, age 40 of Union City, Indiana misused over $38,560.17 while she was the Guardian of her mother between February 2, 2015 and June 30, 2017. The investigation was very lengthy and with the assistance of BCI’s Forensic Accountant, Noggle was recently indicted for Theft from a Protected Class, which is a Felony of the Second degree. A felony of the second degree in the State of Ohio could hold up to an 8 year prison sentence and up to a $15,000 fine.
Noggle was recently arraigned in the Darke County Common Pleas Court, during her arraignment Noggle’s bond was continued as an Own Recognizance Bond.
Noggle is due back in the Darke County Common Pleas Court on September 13, 2019 at 11:00 am for a Pre-Trial.
