First Downtown Hart Farmer’s Market deemed a success

The sun wasn’t the only thing beaming last Thursday evening in downtown Hart — the face of Hart Main Street Manager Julie Kreilick came a close second, as she surveyed the fun and excitement at the first Downtown Hart Farmers Market. The theme for the market was “Remember When.”

“The first market of the season certainly qualified as a success,” Kreilick said. “The attendance was matched with the outcome of vendors selling out of most of their product, and leaving excited to return for the next market!” she exclaimed. “A benchmark our program can provide as data, was that the MarketPlace Shop had triple the foot traffic of a usual business day, proving the farmers market is a benefit to the downtown area!”
